We got an extra day
No wind today but the weather is gorgeous so today Gerty is a motor boat. We take the short ride north to Cold Spring, NY.
Under the Bear Mountain Bridge and past West Point.
At cold Spring we anchor in a pretty bay with the leaves just starting to change. We dinghy to shore and enjoy a picnic lunch. A spectacular bonus to our short season!
