Work Day Bonus
According the the Ships Log we have sailed in and out of Mamaroneck Harbor 32 times. It wasn’t until this mornings’ pre-workday paddle that we noticed a small inlet to the North. Like Alice falling down the hole, we dropped into a boggy wonderland right in our own backyard. The creek, at least a mile long, but maybe much longer, can only be accessed when the water level is just so, allowing one to crouch under the bridge, but still have enough water to glide effortlessly through the wetland grasses.
Then off to work.
Nope, this was not a sail, but I thought it worthy to document this enchanted sixty minute memory.
