Triumph

October 1, 2017 will go down in history as the day that Jill was able to start the outboard motor on Dalorous the dinghy.  I am so pumped about this accomplishment!  You should have seen me tear it up!   Like most things in life, all it takes is the right frame of mind and a good teacher.  A good orthopedic surgeon (Thank you Dr. Ilan) doesn’t hurt either as it has been almost a year to the day that I broke my wrist on Soggy Dollar (our Cat 22) by falling right through the compainway.

By the way, shout out to The Brewer Oxford Marina for great service and facilities!

And then one day later we are motoring back to Annapolis so Gerty can be a show girl.  Not a knot to be felt. Well, her sails deserve a rest before her big debut at the boat show.

No wind – perfect time for us to go back to work for a bit.
